1. What This Website Is
Lynwood Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public rolls, record indexes, directory collections, and official access channels related to Lynwood, Los Angeles County, and California. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with Lynwood, Los Angeles County, any court, library, state agency, or records custodian.
2. Rules for Lawful Use
Use the pages and anything reached through them only for lawful purposes. You may not use the service or its information to:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person
- Find a person protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit fraud, identity theft, impersonation, or another crime
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions about credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or similar eligibility
- Scrape, copy, sell, or republish the content at scale
- Interfere with the service, security, or availability of the pages
3. No Consumer Reporting Agency
The service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. section 1681 and following. Nothing on these pages, and no result returned by a linked provider, is a consumer report. Do not use it to evaluate credit, employment, housing, insurance, tenant, or any other FCRA-covered eligibility.
4. Outside Links and Providers
County portals, city pages, libraries, courts, state agencies, USPS, and sponsored search providers maintain their own terms, prices, privacy practices, and availability. Lynwood Residents Directory does not control an outside service or guarantee its content, search result, fee, or uptime.
5. No Warranties
The pages are supplied on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No warranty is made that a link, description, coverage year, fee, record, or outside result is accurate, complete, current, or available at the time of use. Confirm important information with the custodian.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the pages, a linked resource, a search, or a decision made from information found through them.
7. Indemnification
You agree to protect and hold harmless the operators from claims, demands, losses, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
8. Intellectual Property
The original writing, layout, design, logo, and page structure are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Linking to a page and quoting a short attributed excerpt is allowed. Republishing a full page or systematically copying the directory is not.

The terms may be revised by posting an updated version. The revised text applies to use after it is posted. Continued use following a change indicates acceptance of the new terms.
10. Ending Access
Access may be blocked or limited when a user violates these terms, abuses a search or contact tool, threatens another person, or interferes with the service. That action may occur without advance notice.
11. Governing Law
California law governs these terms, without applying conflict-of-law rules. The California Public Records Act is codified at Government Code sections 7920.000 to 7931.000, including section 7922.535’s determination and extension rules; that statute governs requests to an agency, not a private reference site.
12. Severability
If a court finds one part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
